Beyond the keyboard
A bit of who I am outside of work.
Background
Christian husband and dad, trying to navigate life with a mix of faith, logic, and a bit of sarcasm. Married, four kids, three still here with us and one waiting on the other side. Family is the core of everything else I do.
Hobbies
If it plugs in, connects to Wi-Fi, or throws sparks, I’m probably interested. I tinker with smart home gear, web design, automation scripts, pyrotechnics, and when the screens are off, I like getting outside and traveling.
Education
A mix of traditional schooling and “figure it out as you go.” Background in hospitality management and web design, plus a degree in Network Systems Administration layered on top of a lot of self-taught problem solving.
Faith & values
Nondenominational Christian, pastor’s kid, and someone who genuinely believes in the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I lean conservative, still have some faith in humanity (most days), and I’m raising my kids to be grounded, honest, and respectful of others even when they disagree.
